Merideth started riding as a kid in the western suburbs of Chicago, studying dressage and some jumping.
In 2011 her mentor, Don Healy of Healy Farms (http://www.healyfarms.com) convinced her to move to Aiken because she has such a special talent with horses. After starting at Healy Farms she trained and groomed at Meadow Hill Farm for 5 years, then at Derry Heir for 4 years and now she is on her own at the Angel View Farm.
Meredith specializes in starting training, and desensitizing young horses and problem horses of any discipline. She has that special sensitivity that only the most skilled trainers possess to help a horse work through issues and gain confidence. She also has experience in helping rehabilitate horses back from injury (see Special Horses).
Her home base is at Angel View Farm, but she works all over the Aiken area.
